Imperatore Club by Natalie Gurieva effectively presented to Ukrainian beau-mond
some unique luxury hotels from Italy, France, Greece and Ukraine
The expression “Time's money” is well known not only by high technology experts hurrying to keep pace with the scientific and technological progress but also by the people from top-level world tourism industry invited to gather under the roof of a posh “Leo” restaurant by Imperatore Club by Natalie Gurieva
Travel Academy, held during the presentation where business interests of leading Ukrainian travel agencies and the ones of global recreation industry leaders met, showed the extremely high potential and great prospects of cooperation. Despite certain instability in the world economy the number of those willing to have luxurious and expensive holidays does not decrease. Moreover, Ukrainian business elite established for the last decade shows a keen interest to European luxury segment. The market players note that for the last two years tourist flow from Ukraine to European countries has been growing 10-15% annually.
That is why such outstanding representatives of European hotelier’s community as:
· Eugenia Lebedeva - Eleganzia Hotels & Spas and Forte Village Resort, Sardinia, Castel Monastero, Tuscany,
· Pravin Ramessur and Helen Gerashchenko – Mirotel, Truskavets,
· Loic Fresard, Majestic Barierre, Cannes,
· Natalia Yakimenko - Grand Resort Lagonissi, Greece,
· Tatiana Kuzina - Hotel Elounda Beach, Crete,
· Claudia La Greca - Capri Palace, Capri,
· Erica d`Angelo - Ti Sana Detox Retreat & Spa not far from Milan,

Talking of expectations and plans for 2012, both tour operators and hoteliers of premium segment were unanimous in their opinion that the growth of Ukrainian tourist flow would reach 3.5% in relation to the last season.
Summarizing all the talks and meetings Ms Natalie Gurieva, President, Imperatore Club determined “some basic trends in the sphere of luxury tourism:
- classical European countries will stay popular, among leaders are Italy, France, Greece
- quality of recreation as well as quality of life is becoming a priority due to increasing stress and decreasing time spent with the closest and dearest people and communing with oneself;
- acquiring new experience, knowledge and skills in unity of soul, body and mind is becoming fashionable;
- healthy, ecological, active and literate recreation, possibility to educate children in leisure time is already fashionable;
- hotel styles preferred by guests can vary but one thing stays unchangeable – guests desire to feel themselves at home in a hotel and, as a rule, they return to those hotels where they had such a feeling. The new loyalty programme for the members of Imperatore Club will allow them to feel themselves at home in hotels of Forte Village Resort, Castel Monastero and Mirotel».
“The Ukrainian market, as well as the markets of CIS countries, develops dynamically. It is here that we can see the largest potential for the growth of the luxury class audience. It is also important to note our cultural and historical relationship making recreation of the guests from Ukraine in Greece particularly warm and pleasant”, - noticed Natalia Yakimenko, Sales Manager, Grand Resort Lagonissi (Greece).
“It may be said that together with Ukrainian guests we test the quality of services we offer. They are very demanding guests who know what they want, and we realize that if we are able to offer them the whole scope of desired services they will return to us. This will mean that we, as a hotel, have reached higher results”, - adds Tatiana Kuzina, Sales Manager, Hotel Elound Beach, Crete
According to Loic Fresard, International Sales Director, Majestic Barierre, Cannes, Ukrainian market is the second largest one among CIS countries. That is why hoteliers make so much effort to attract larger numbers of Ukrainian tourists to their resorts where every hotel is unmatched and unforgettable in its own way. E.g. in Majestic Barierre there is a room of 450 m2 fully designed by Christian Dior House.
The hotel also has some Ukrainian speaking personnel and all information in its manual is also translated in Ukrainian".
As it is noticed by hoteliers, luxury today acquires new meaning. Luxury is, above all, privacy, elegance, chastity and homeliness. Jean-Philippe Laugier, Brand Sales Director, Cheval Blanc (Courchevel) noticed that from Ukraine to them usually come families or people to meet their children studying in England and France who are going on holidays to Courchevel. Such customers make 7% of the total number of guests. They speak fluent French and German, sometimes even better than native speakers do.
As more and more people try to live in harmony with nature choosing healthy food, according to Erica d`Angelo, the owner of Ti Sana Detox Retreat & Spa (Milan), a hotel, first of all, practices the new philosophy of healthy nutrition and recreation through manual, gastronomic and emotional therapy.
Euginia Lebedeva, Sales Manager in Eastern Europe Eleganzia Hotels & Spas and Forte Village Resort, Sardinia, Castel Monastero, Tuscany notices that their hotels always follow the latest trends in the sphere of luxurious hospitality and, together with the highest standards of service, offer their guests an opportunity to do sports in dedicated professional sporting academies where instruction and master-classes are run by the world sport stars – Academies of rugby, football, golf, cricket and dance. Ukrainians are attracted as the most active tourists. Recreational programmes of the well-known doctor Ali, whose clients were royal families and Hollywood stars, will make holidays not only pleasant but also useful for health.
Considering pricing policy all the market players were unanimous that optimum price in premium-class hotels should start from €500 per night for a standard room. E.g. Claudia La Greca, Sales and Banquette Manager, Capri Palace, Capri informs that prices in their hotel vary between €470 a room and €6000 a presidential suite.
At the same time it always can be said of a reasonable approach to distributing budget. There are high and low season prices. Thus, travel to Forte Village, Majestic Barierre in August or to Cheval Blanc in December would be expensive. But there are hotel categories providing low season discounts and special offers. There is always an opportunity to allow yourself some luxury or at least to touch it. Pleasant travels, first of all, give strength to live on, allow real recreation.
Considering evaluation of Ukrainian hotel market, in the guests’ opinion, there are enough attractive places in Ukraine where some good hotels could be built. Pravin Ramessur, General Manager, Mirotel, Truskavets believes that today it is especially interesting to invest into the south and western regions of Ukraine as well as into development of hotels in large cities, such as Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kiev.
Talking of the future it should be highlighted that Imperàtore Club is planning to hold the Travel Academy annually expanding the geography of participants. “The Club will invite participants from the countries where there is the demand, - states Ms Natalie Gurieva. – Today the main countries preferred by Ukrainians are Italy, France, Greece. But I do not put limits in this club. The market itself will show us where to move. I mean Imperatore Club is the club of true connoisseurs for whom travel is a real opportunity to live a life in its several dimensions, beyond time and space. From those and for those who has already proven everything for themselves”.
